​PDO Thread Lift​

NVL- PDO is lifting threads made by PDO (Polydioxanone) which is used for biomedical applications, particularly in cardiothoracic surgery because it is perfectly absorbed by hydrolysis within 4 to 6 months and it does not create any scar tissue.

The foreign material stimulates collagen synthesis and the skin structure created will hold for another 12 to 15 months. The number of PDO threads criss-crossing the skin to create volume and lift.

If the needle with PDO thread is inserted into the dermal layer of the skin, our body recognize absorbable PDO threads as foreign substances. Therefore, It starts recovering and regenerating the destructed tissues. It also activates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin and to increase the density of the dermis.

What is PDO?

PDO (Polydioxanone) is very thin and fine thread. It is made of absorbable materials so naturally absorb in the skin.
